Shaadi Cares is proud to partner with Stree Mukti Sanghatana’s Centre for Women’s Empowerment and Environment Training in Navi Mumbai.

This centre will provide respite, recovery and a new life for women in Navi Mumbai after incidences of marital violence and abuse. The Centre provides temporary shelter to 25 women for up to 3 months, as well as vocational training. It also provides a Day Care Centre for the children of 100 non resident women along with their training as well as legal counseling.

The NGO is currently involved in providing:

  • Counseling services to women in cases of domestic, societal and state violence through 10 Counseling Centers
  • Operating Day Care Services to 175 children of in-need women
  • Conducting training programmes on women’s issues and healthy living
  • Devising self-help groups to empower women towards a brighter future.
